Location: Based out of our operations hub near Basingstoke in Hampshire (RG29 postcode), with deliveries primarily across South, Greater London & Midlands.
About the role:
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, friendly and customer-facing driver to help deliver plants and instant flower beds to our customers. The role will be based from our operations yard in Hampshire for the next 3-4 months over the peak gardening season. The role is currently a temporary contract but there is a possibility for it to continue beyond this timeframe.
The role will entail loading plant orders onto our Dig van and delivering on multi-drop routes to different addresses throughout South-East, Greater London and Midlands. Some larger deliveries may also be further afield. This role is initially being recruited for a minimum of two days a week. Generally, all our deliveries take place on Thursday and Friday, though some flexibility may be required. There is also the potential the number of days per week to increase, pending customer demand.
We’re looking for an individual with a great work ethic, brilliant people skills and a positive attitude to join our friendly, enthusiastic team. Since our products are often a significant financial outlay for our customers, our delivery needs to be friendly, helpful and approachable.
A full, clean UK driving licence is mandatory.
We will offer a competitive, hourly salary. Fuel and relevant expenses will be covered by Dig.
